Purpose

As agreed by the Executive on 06 October 2022 and as set out in
report EXE22-060, the Strategic Director — Place and Digital, in consultation with the
Portfolio Holder, be delegated authority to make minor amendments to the Private Sector
Housing Amenity Standards

Decision

In accordance with the delegated authority set out above, the Private Sector Housing
Amenity Standards be amended.

Reasons for the decision

Updates in relation to HHSRS 2 with new Baseline Indicators included in new section
Updates in relation to the Renters’ Rights Act 2025
Removing Selective Licence Scheme references and including Additional Licence
Scheme references
Updates for some missing information eg handrails for stairs, location of fire blankets
etc
General formatting improvements for consistency
