The Thames Valley Police and Crime Panel scrutinises the work of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Thames Valley, ensuring the effective operation of Thames Valley Police. It also provides support to the Commissioner. The panel comprises one councillor from each of the 18 local authorities within Thames Valley, alongside two independent co-opted members. It holds regular public meetings, which are often webcast.
