The Leader of the Council and Executive Councillor for Housing, Partnerships and the Local Plan, Stephen Conway, decided on 06/03/2026 to approve Wokingham Borough Council's response to the Government's consultation on reducing private estate management arrangements.

The Executive Member for Planning and Local Plan, Lindsay Ferris, decided on 04/03/2024 to approve Wokingham Borough Council's response to the Basingstoke and Deane Draft Local Plan Update consultation. This response supports meeting local housing and employment needs, requests further engagement on transport infrastructure and potential new train stations, and supports in principle meeting the needs of Gypsy and Traveller communities.

The Executive Member for Active Travel, Transport and Highways, Paul Fishwick, decided on 18/01/2024 to approve the making of an Amendment Order to the Wokingham Borough Council (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Waiting, Loading and Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2023, with minor changes. The decision includes proceeding with most proposed waiting restrictions, with the exception of those in Colemansmoor Road and London Road, Earley, which will be withdrawn or amended.

The Executive decided on 25/06/2026 to note the business activities of Optalis Ltd and ensure ongoing oversight and transparency by incorporating bi-annual reports. Optalis Ltd, a Local Authority Trading Company, provides Adult Social Care services and is jointly owned by Wokingham Borough Council and the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.

The Executive decided on 28/05/2026 to tender 21 local bus services and recommission enhanced community transport services for a five-year contract period starting April 2027. The decision also includes the release of S106 developer funding and grant funding to support these services, and delegates authority to award contracts.
