Purpose
To review the financial position of quarter one 2026/27
Decision
RESOLVED that the Executive:
1) noted the overall forecast of the current position of the General Fund revenue budget, Housing Revenue Account (HRA) and Dedicated Schools Grant (DSG)
2) noted and approved a supplementary estimate of £42k for the upgrade and uplift of the members allowances scheme as recommended by the independent remuneration panel and pension contributions for the 8 members that have signed up to the Local government pension scheme following regulations that came into force on the 11th of May 2026.
3) noted and approved that, following a review, the saving detailed in the 2026/27 budget relating to the reduction in the grounds maintenance contract will no longer be implemented.
