Decision

RESOLVED that the Executive:

1) Approved the award of contracts to the relevant Multi-Academy Trusts for the delivery of specialist SEND Resource Bases and SEND Units at: • Corvus Learning Trust -The Bulmershe School • Orchard Learning Alliance - Waingels College • Frays Multi Academy Trust - Keep Hatch Primary School

2) Approved the award of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to Wokingham Borough Council-maintained schools for the delivery of specialist SEND Resource Bases and SEND Units at: • Walter Infant School • St Paul’s Church of England Junior School • Winnersh Primary School

3) Approved that the contractual and SLA arrangements, for the Trusts and schools set out above, for the management of the SEND Resource Bases and Units for a 5 year period from 1st September 2026 to 31st August 2031.

4) Approved that funding for the contracts and SLAs will be allocated annually in line with the local place-plus-top-up funding arrangements, with an estimated total top-up value of approximately £7.5 million over the initial five-year term, to be met from the High Needs Block of the Dedicated Schools Grant (DSG).
