RESOLVED that the Executive:

1) Considered the latest update on the Council’s future office provision, including implications of the Fairer Funding settlement and proposed Local Government Reorganisation,

2) Approved that the Council retains the Shute End offices as its main headquarters for a period of 10 years (up to 2036) and manages the operation of the asset, in line with the approved Medium Term Financial Plan

3) Noted that no further substantive feasibility work on the Future Headquarters project will be undertaken until directed by the Executive

4) Noted that options for 28-38 Peach Street, Wokingham (former M&S store) will be considered by Community and Corporate Overview & Scrutiny Committee in June 2026.
