About

The Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education (SACRE) for Wolverhampton advises the local authority on improving Religious Education (RE) and collective worship in schools. As RE is not part of the national curriculum, SACRE ensures it is taught in all schools. It represents various community interests, giving them a voice in shaping what pupils learn about religion. SACRE's primary role is advisory, focusing on recommendations to enhance RE provision across the city's schools.
