The City of Wolverhampton Council is the Administering Authority for the West Midlands Pension Fund. A Local Government Pension Scheme responsible for the pension benefits of all public sector employees across the West Midlands Region. It is supported by the Local Pensions Board who are responsible for assisting in the good governance of the scheme. It consists of 6 member and 6 employer representatives from across the West Midlands region.
