Purpose

To approve the revised policy.

Decision

1. That the revised Private Sector Housing Assistance Policy be approved.
2. That authority be delegated to the Deputy Leader: City Housing and Assets, in consultation with the Executive Director of Place (delegated to the Deputy Director of City Housing), to approve minor amendments to the Policy, including changes required to reflect legislative or statutory updates, and to approve the withdrawal of discretionary grants where this is considered necessary to mitigate financial pressures.
3. That authority be delegated to the Deputy Leader: City Housing and Assets in consultation with the Executive Director of Place (delegated to the Deputy Director of City Housing), to approve the implementation (go live) date.
