Purpose

To approve the award and payment of grants to High St businesses under the Vibrant High St grants scheme.

Decision

1. Approved the payment of grants as required for delivery of activity awarded to businesses successfully applying to the Vibrant High St scheme, as detailed further in Appendix 1 Grants will be paid in 2 scheduled payments; an initial 80% in June 2026 and 20% once the business has provided evidence of project completion, and this is to be no later that 31 December 2026.

1. Approved the payment of grant in July 2026 of £7,000 to Wednesfield Team Ministry for renovation of St Thomas church clock and clock tower.

1. Approved a budget of £100,000 funded from the Our City Our Plan Reserve for the payment of revenue Vibrant High Street grants.
