Request for additional discretionary top up for a Disabled Facilities grant

Decision

1. Agreed to the provision of a further discretionary Disabled Facilities Grant for the case detailed in the report below, to a maximum of £20,000, to cover the cost of building work plus a small amount of contingency funding.
2. Agreed that a local land charge can be levied on the property for any additional discretionary funding (and for the full value of the additional top up if required) to allow the Council to reclaim the money if the property is sold or the ownership transferred.
