Purpose

Request for additional funding in excess of mandatory DFG and the already agreed discretionary top up of £20,000

Decision

1. Agreed to the provision of a further discretionary Disabled Facilities Grant for the case detailed in the report below, to a maximum of £15,000, to cover the additional work and uprated costs plus a small amount of contingency funding.
2. Agreed that a local land charge can be levied on the property for any additional discretionary funding (and for the full value of the additional top up if required) to allow the Council to reclaim the money if the property is sold or the ownership transferred.
