Purpose

To seek approval to award the contract for the construction of thirty-four new homes along with associated infrastructure to Keon Homes Limited, through the City of Wolverhampton Council (CWC) Housing Development Framework.

Decision

  1. That approval be granted to award the construction of thirty-four new build homes to Keon Homes, St Joseph’s House, Chasetown, Staffordshire, WS7 3XG for the total contract value of £9,365,143.82.
  1. The development shall commence on 29th June 2026 and will deliver thirty-four new residential properties across two locations
  • Former Duke of York public house site

·         8 one-bedroom apartments

·         24 two-bedroom apartments

  • Land between 34 and 36 Inkerman Street

·         2 four-bedroom houses

  1. The JCT Design and Build Contract 2016 shall include all associated infrastructure and external works required to complete both sites.
  1. Authorised the Chief Operating Officer (or such other Authorised Officer) to enter and execute a contract, and all other such ancillary agreements as deemed necessary to facilitate the delivery of this project, including but not limited to deeds of covenant, collateral warranties, assignments, transfers, the grant of easements, wayleaves.
