Purpose

To seek approval to award the contract for the construction of two new homes along with associated infrastructure to J Harper & Sons Limited, through the City of Wolverhampton Council (CWC) Housing Development Framework.

Decision

1. Approved the award of the contract for the construction of two new build properties at Meredith Road to J Harper & Sons Limited, Unit 1 & 2 Bevan Industrial Estate, Brierley Hill, West Midlands, DY5 3TF, Company Number 00782078, for the total value of £676,488.38. Meredith Road comprises of two one-bedroom bungalows.

1. Authorised the Council to enter and execute a contract including deed of covenants, collateral warranties, assignments, transfers, the grant of easements, wayleaves and other such ancillary agreements as deemed necessary to facilitate the delivery of this project.
