Decision

Resolved (unanimously) that Executive:

i.               Noted the change in circumstances relating to the future review of the Joint Minerals and Waste Plan.

ii.             Noted and endorse that City of York Council remains the Minerals and Waste Planning Authority for York and its statutory planning responsibilities will be addressed through the new Local Plan process.

iii.            Noted and endorsed the implications of including minerals and waste planning matters in the scope of the emerging York Local Plan.

iv.           Noted and endorsed the updated timetable for the production of the Local Plan.:
