Decision

Resolved (unanimously) that Executive:

i.      Endorsed the proposed approach to delivering the Adult Social Care Strategy through the Delivery Plan, Adult Social Care Improvement Programme and Adult Social Care savings delivery plans.

ii.    Noted the development of the Resource Plan and strengthened financial controls supporting delivery.

iii.   Provided any further steer on the priorities, governance and monitoring arrangements.

iv.  Delegated to the Executive Member for Health, Wellbeing and Adult Social Care and the Corporate Director of Adult Social Care and Integration to ensure recommendations made by Corporate Scrutiny Committee had been fully reflected within the strategy.

Reasons: This approach will provide a single, coherent framework for translating the Adult Social Care Strategy into delivery, strengthening oversight of progress, outcomes, improvement activity and financial sustainability.
