Tybalds Estate, New North Street, London WC1N 3JT
A variation of conditions for the Tybalds Estate development was also scheduled for discussion. This proposal aimed to amend dwelling tenures, reduce the height of Block D, make internal and external amendments to all blocks, alter entrances to Chancellors Court and Babington Court, and amend the overall landscaping strategy. The recommendation was to grant conditional planning permission, subject to a Shadow Section 106 Legal Agreement Deed of Variation.
British Museum, Great Russell Street, London WC1B 3DG
The committee was set to discuss the erection of two visitor welcome pavilions within the northern and southern forecourts of the British Museum. The proposal also included associated queuing and wayfinding infrastructure, railings, seating, landscaping of the western and eastern lawns in the southern forecourt, and alterations to dwarf walls and curbs. This was intended as a temporary measure for up to 10 years. The recommendation was to grant conditional planning permission, subject to a Section 106 Legal Agreement.
100 and 100a Chalk Farm Road, London NW1 8EH
A non-material amendment was scheduled for consideration regarding the development at 100 and 100a Chalk Farm Road. The proposal sought to amend the tenure of approved affordable housing from a mixed tenure to solely social affordable rent units. The recommendation was to grant the non-material amendment, subject to a deed of variation to the Section 106 Legal Agreement.
33-35 Jamestown Road, London, NW1 7DB
Similarly, a non-material amendment was scheduled for 33-35 Jamestown Road, concerning the tenure of approved affordable housing. The proposal aimed to change the mix from social affordable rent and intermediate units to all social affordable rent units. The recommendation was to grant the non-material amendment, subject to a deed of variation to the Section 106 Legal Agreement.
