Open Council Network is an independent organisation. We report on Sutton and are not the council. About us
The Carshalton and Clockhouse Local Committee is scheduled to meet on Tuesday 23 June 2026. The meeting agenda includes a community showcase on the Carshalton Fruit Pickers project, discussions on local funding priorities, and an opportunity for public questions.
Community Showcase: Carshalton Fruit Pickers
The committee is scheduled to hear about the Carshalton Fruit Pickers project. This segment of the meeting will provide information on how members of the community can get involved with this initiative.
Neighbourhood Fund: Setting Local Priorities
A key item on the agenda is the Neighbourhood Fund, with a focus on setting local priorities. This discussion is expected to provide an overview of the funding available in the area, outline what the funds can be used for, and detail the timescales for submitting applications.
Wider Funding Opportunities
The committee is also scheduled to consider wider funding opportunities. This item will explore avenues for additional financial support that may be available to the local community.
Public Questions
A dedicated session for public questions is scheduled. This provides an opportunity for residents to raise concerns and ask questions about local issues. Questions must be submitted in advance via a form on the council's website. Those who submit questions at least five working days before the meeting will receive a written response beforehand and will be able to ask one follow-up question during the meeting. Questions submitted within five working days will receive a response after the meeting. All submitted questions, along with the names and any represented organisations of the questioners, will be published and included in the meeting minutes.
The meeting is scheduled to take place at the Good Shepherd Church, Queen Mary's Avenue, Carshalton SM5 4NP.
