Saint Hill Farm Development in East Grinstead

The committee also discussed the planning application DM.24.0004 for the development of Saint Hill Farm, which includes the construction of 200 residential units and a commercial area. The proposal aims to create a mixed-use development that supports both residential and economic growth in East Grinstead.

Environmental concerns dominated the discussion, with several councillors requesting more comprehensive environmental impact assessments. Councillor John Doe remarked, We need to ensure that this development does not negatively affect the local ecosystem and biodiversity. The committee decided to defer the decision until further environmental studies are conducted, ensuring that all potential impacts are thoroughly evaluated.
