The proposed hours for the sale of alcohol were from 10:00 to 17:30 on Mondays and Tuesdays, extending to 22:30 from Wednesday to Saturday, and 19:30 on Sundays. Recorded music was proposed to be available from 08:00 to 18:00 daily. The premises had previously held a Premises Licence, which was surrendered in 2011.

Representations were received from the Metropolitan Police and the Environmental Services Officer (Noise). The Police raised concerns related to the prevention of crime and disorder, requesting conditions for Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) and a Challenge 25 policy. The Environmental Services Officer's concerns focused on potential public nuisance from noise, particularly from the use of external areas and bi-folding doors. The report indicated that the applicant had accepted these conditions, satisfying the representations from these responsible authorities.

A local resident also made a representation concerning public nuisance and crime and disorder. This representation highlighted potential increases in general noise levels, issues with patrons smoking outside, litter, and anti-social behaviour.
