The GMCA Overview & Scrutiny Committee is scheduled to hold its Annual Business Meeting on Thursday 24 September 2026. The committee will review and note the Terms of Reference for the GMCA Overview & Scrutiny Committee. These terms outline the committee's function and purpose, which includes reviewing and evaluating the performance of the Mayor and GMCA, contributing to policy development on complex issues affecting Greater Manchester, and investigating cross-cutting issues with a focus on the delivery of the Greater Manchester Strategy. The committee is scheduled to consider the GMCA Overview & Scrutiny Committee Annual Report 2025/26, which will outline the work undertaken by the committee over the past municipal year and identify areas of focus for the forthcoming year.
