The Metropolitan Police object to the application, stating that the requested hours exceed those recommended in the Southwark Statement of Licensing Policy 2026 to 2031 for premises within the Borough and Bankside Cumulative Impact Area¹. The Licensing Authority also objects, believing the extended hours would undermine licensing objectives in an area already experiencing late-night crime and disorder.
