The Licensing Sub-Committee (Street Trading and Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Vehicles, Drivers and Operators) was scheduled to consider an application for a private hire driver's licence and to review three private hire operator licences. These matters were scheduled to be heard in private session.
Application for a Private Hire Driver's Licence
The sub-committee was scheduled to determine an application for a private hire driver's licence. The report pack provided for this item was between pages 3 and 24 of the public reports pack. The information was exempt from public disclosure under paragraph 2 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972, as it was likely to reveal the identity of an individual.
Review of Private Hire Operator Licences
The sub-committee was scheduled to review three separate private hire operator licences. The reports for these reviews were contained within the public reports pack on pages 25-36, 37-48, and 49-60 respectively. Similar to the driver's licence application, these reviews were also scheduled to be held in private session due to the likely disclosure of individuals' identities, as per paragraph 2 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972.
