The Standards Committee of Stockport Council met on Monday 16 September 2024 to review the annual report on councillor conduct. The committee noted the report and agreed for it to proceed to the CRMG Scrutiny and Cabinet Meeting, followed by the Council Meeting.

Annual Report Regarding Councillor Conduct

The committee considered a report from the Assistant Director – Legal and Democratic Governance, which detailed complaints received about the conduct of members during the 2023/24 municipal year. The report indicated that a total of four complaints were received during this period: three from members of the public and one on behalf of members of a Trade Union.
