A discussion on cycling finance was also scheduled.
Cycling Strategic Review Scope Report
The panel was scheduled to consider a report outlining the proposed scope for reviewing active travel, with a particular focus on cycling. The report recommended that the panel agree on the scope of this review. This review is intended to examine the council's role in encouraging cycling, the policy background, actions taken, financial implications, and opportunities for improvement. The proposed review plan indicated that the scoping phase would be concluded at this meeting, with evidence gathering to follow in subsequent meetings.
