Teddington Direct River Abstraction Scheme

Thames Water was scheduled to give a presentation on the proposed Teddington Direct River Abstraction Scheme. According to the report pack, "The project comprised three main features:

• Tertiary Treatment Facilities (TTF) at the existing Mogden Sewage Treatment Works to treat a proportion of final effluent produced to create recycled water.
• A new pipeline to carry the recycled water from Mogden Sewage Treatment Works to a new discharge outfall located on the River Thames just upstream of Teddington Weir.
• A new river water abstraction facility consisting of an intake structure and short pipeline to take water from the River Thames and transfer it to the existing Thames Lee Tunnel."

Hounslow’s Local List

Vincent Lacovara, Director of Planning and Buildings, was scheduled to provide a presentation on Hounslow’s local list. The current list, dating back to September 2019, is currently being updated, and residents are invited to make nominations for buildings, structures or sites across the borough that they deem significant. The closing date for nominations is 31 March 2024.

Digital Switchover & Broadband in Hounslow

The agenda included a presentation on Digital Switchover and Broadband in Hounslow by Nick McCarthy, Head of Digital Services.

Digital Switchover 2025

This segment was scheduled to cover the nationwide transition from analogue to digital landlines by the end of 2025, impacting services like home phones, alarms, and healthcare devices.
