Update on Standards from the Monitoring Officer

The Monitoring Officer was scheduled to provide an update on Standards since the last meeting. The report was not included in the meeting pack.

Minutes of the last meeting

The Sub-Committee was scheduled to consider the minutes of the previous meeting of the Committee held on 25 April 2024. The minutes of that meeting showed that it was the inaugural meeting of the Committee, that Gail Storr had been appointed as Chair and Russell Stafford-Tolley as Vice-Chair, that all members confirmed they had undertaken Code of Conduct training, and that the next meeting was scheduled to take place in 6 months. The minutes also included a discussion of the statutory guidance on the role of sub committees, and a report from the Monitoring Officer. The meeting was attended by Councillors from Powys County Council and Ceredigion County Council and by Independent Members appointed to the Committee.
