Area Board Funding
The Area Board was scheduled to consider applications for grant funding from its Community Area Grant, Youth Grant, and Older and Vulnerable People Grant budgets.
The total value of bids to be considered was £14,935, with individual bids ranging in value from £1,600 to £4,975.

Update on Neighbourhood Collaborative Model

Area Board Priority Update
The Area Board was scheduled to be updated on the progress that is being made on its local priorities by the Councillors responsible for those priorities.
The priorities are:

- Addressing Climate Change and Protecting Green Spaces
- Supporting Low Income Individuals and Families
- Older and Vulnerable People: Supporting Positive Mental and Physical Health
- Community Safety
Partner Updates
The meeting was scheduled to include updates from several partner organisations, including:
- Wiltshire Police
- Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service
- Child Friendly Trowbridge
- Trowbridge Future
- Town and Parish Council Nominated Representatives
Local Highways and Footpath Improvement Group
The Area Board was scheduled to consider the minutes of the last meeting of the Trowbridge Local Highways and Footpath Improvement Group, which took place on 19 September 2024, and consider any recommendations made in those minutes.
The minutes from that meeting are included in the report pack, and they include a number of recommendations relating to funding requests from the group, updates on various highway schemes, and requests for further reports.
Information Items
The meeting pack included several items that were provided for the information of the Area Board. These include:
- Wiltshire Local Transport Plan Consultation - This document invited the Area Board to participate in the public consultation on the new Wiltshire Local Transport Plan, which is to cover the period 2025-2038.
- Wiltshire Police Spot the Signs Campaign - This briefing note introduced the Area Board to the Spot The Signs campaign, which aims to educate young people and adults on how to spot the signs of child criminal exploitation.
- Wiltshire Police VAWG Quarterly Update - This report updated the Area Board on the work that Wiltshire Police has been doing to combat violence against women and girls in the county.
- Vaccine Confidence Training Sessions - This note advertised a pair of online training sessions about vaccine confidence that were being provided by the Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire Integrated Care Board.
- EV Chargers - This briefing note explained that Wiltshire Council has received funding from the Department for Transport to provide EV chargers, and invited Town and Parish Councils to help decide where they should be located.
- Community First Update - This update included information about the services provided by Community First, including support for carers and activities for young people.
- Update from BSW Together (Integrated Care System) - This briefing note described several recent events at the BSW Integrated Care Board, including the appointment of a new Joint Chief Executive, the launch of a public consultation for a new 10-year plan, and an update on local hospitals.
- Cost of Living Update - This briefing note updated the Area Board on the work that Wiltshire Council has been doing to help people cope with the cost of living crisis. It also noted several changes that have been made to national cost of living support schemes.
