The Western Community Meeting on 10 December 2024 was scheduled to receive updates from the police, housing, and traffic and highways departments. The meeting was also scheduled to hear feedback from the City Warden service and consider the Western Ward budget.

The meeting was scheduled to hear City Warden Feedback/Developments. City Wardens are council employees with powers to issue fixed penalty notices for offences such as littering and dog fouling.
The final item on the agenda was the Ward Budget Summary. Ward budgets are funds allocated to each electoral ward in the city.
