This special meeting of the Full Council will include consideration of a recommendation from the Strategy & Resources Committee to change the name of a ward in the Tandridge District.
Change of ward name from ‘Lingfield & Crowhurst’ to ‘Lingfield, Crowhurst & Tandridge’
A report will be provided to the Full Council meeting recommending that the Council approves the changing of the name of the ‘Lingfield & Crowhurst’ ward to ‘Lingfield, Crowhurst & Tandridge’.
The report to the Strategy & Resources Committee explains that following a public consultation in which 93% of respondents were in favour
, the Local Government Boundary Commission for England (LGBCE) were approached as part of the statutory process
