The terms of reference for the LHFIG state that the group will normally be made up of:

• Members of the Area Board
• Town and Parish Council representatives
• Community / Stakeholder representatives

The LHFIG's terms of reference also state that it has no formal decision-making authority on operational matters or budget expenditure but acts as an informal discussion forum making recommendations to the Area Board. Recommendations must be agreed at a full LHFIG meeting before being brought to the next Area Board for approval.

Appointment of Chairman and Vice-Chairman

Councillor Liz Alstrom was appointed as Chairman of the Chippenham and Villages Area Board for the forthcoming year, and Councillor Ross Henning was appointed as Vice-Chairman.
