The Local Licensing Forum of Aberdeen City Council met on 2 September 2025. On the agenda was a summary of a development day, a membership update, discussion of alcohol-related data, and future meeting dates. The forum was also scheduled to discuss agenda items for a joint meeting with the Licensing Board.
Aberdeen Alcohol Data
The forum was scheduled to discuss data relating to alcohol in Aberdeen. Danuta Dobrzanska and Pete Turner were expected to present this information.
Joint Meeting with Licensing Board
The agenda included discussion of items for a future joint meeting between the Local Licensing Forum and the Licensing Board. The Licensing Board is responsible for granting licenses for the sale of alcohol, and for occasional licenses1.
Development Day Summary
The forum was scheduled to approve a summary of a development day held on 17 June 2025. This summary was contained on pages 3-6 of the Public Reports Pack.
Other Business
The agenda also included:
- A membership update.
- An update from a meeting with the Adult Social Work Team.
- Discussion of meeting dates and plans for 2026.
- Any other competent business.
- Confirmation of the date of the next meeting as 4 November 2025.
