The Rotherham Standing Advisory Council for Religious Education (SACRE) Agreed Syllabus Conference was scheduled to convene on Thursday, 4 September 2025, via Microsoft Teams. The agenda included updates and potential approval regarding the revision of the RE Local Agreed Syllabus1. Members were also expected to discuss feedback on the current syllabus and consider the next steps in the revision process.
Revision of the RE Local Agreed Syllabus
The meeting was scheduled to include a verbal update on the planning and preparation for the revision of the RE Local Agreed Syllabus. This included a discussion and feedback relating to the current Local Agreed Syllabus.
SACRE ASC members were also scheduled to receive a verbal update on the next steps of the process to revise the Agreed Local Syllabus. They were to consider and/or approve the revision, and the agreed next steps in the process.
Other Business
The agenda for the meeting Agenda frontsheet also allowed for the determination of any items which the Chair is of the opinion should be considered as a matter of urgency.
