The Appeals (Home to School Transport) Committee of North Yorkshire Council met to consider several appeals against the council's decision not to provide home to school transport. The meeting was scheduled to exclude the public due to the discussion of exempt information, as defined in the Local Government Act 19721. Councillors were asked to arrive 30 minutes early.
School Transport Appeals
The committee was scheduled to review appeals for transport to the following schools:
- King James School
- Tadcaster Grammar School
- Welburn Primary School
- Langton Primary School
- Kettlewell Primary School
- Upper Wharfedale School
For each appeal, the committee was provided with a report from the Corporate Director – Children and Young People's Service.
Other Business
The agenda for the meeting of the Appeals (Home to School Transport) Committee, chaired by Councillor Robert Windass, also included:
