The Uttlesford Council Scrutiny Committee met on Monday, 22nd September 2025, to discuss a proposal to submit plans for local government reorganisation to the government. The meeting also provided an opportunity for public questions and statements.

Local Government Reorganisation

The committee was scheduled to discuss a report regarding the submission of proposals to the government for local government reorganisation.

Public Speaking

The agenda allowed for a 15-minute period for public questions and statements, with each speaker limited to 3 minutes. Members of the public were required to give notice of their intention to speak by midday two working days before the meeting.
