Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment
The board is scheduled to receive an update on the results of consultation and approval for the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) prior to its publication. The PNA examines the current provision of pharmaceutical services across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, and identifies potential gaps in service provision.
Several appendices are included in the report pack relating to the PNA:
- Pharmacy Opening Times
- PNA 2025 Final
- LLR Public Survey Report
- Leicester Pharmacy Survey Report
- Leicester City response from ICB
- Leicester Equality Impact Assessment
Director of Public Health Annual Report
The Director of Public Health, Rob Howard, is scheduled to present their annual report. The Director of Public Health's annual report 2025 will likely cover key public health issues and achievements in Leicester over the past year. The annual report is an opportunity to highlight health inequalities, assess the impact of public health interventions, and make recommendations for future action.
Integrated Care Board Update
The board is scheduled to receive an update on the current position of the Integrated Care Board (ICB). The Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Integrated Care Board (LLR ICB) is responsible for planning and delivering healthcare services across the region. Dr Avi Prasad, LLR ICB Place Lead, Caroline Trevithick, Chief Executive, Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Integrated Care Board, Rachna Vyas, Chief Operating Officer, Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Integrated Care Board, and Helen Mather, Associate Director of Elective Care, Cancer and Diagnostics, Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Integrated Care Board are all listed as attendees.

Healthwatch Leicester Annual Report
Healthwatch Leicester is scheduled to update the board on their annual report. Healthwatch Leicester and Leicestershire, represented by Harsha Kotecha, Chair, Healthwatch Advisory Board, Leicester and Leicestershire, is the local independent health and social care champion. They gather feedback from patients and the public about their experiences of health and social care services, and use this information to influence service providers and commissioners to improve care.
Integrated Health and Care Group Update
The board is scheduled to receive an update from the Leicester Integrated Health and Care Group (LIHCG). The LIHCG aims to improve the co-ordination of health and social care services in Leicester.
Leicester Neighbourhoods
The Integrated Care Board is scheduled to update the board on the proposed footprints of the City Neighbourhoods. This likely refers to a plan to organise healthcare services around local neighbourhoods in Leicester, to better meet the needs of the local population.
Healthy Weight Declaration
The board is scheduled to receive an update on the Healthy Weight Declaration. This likely refers to a local initiative to promote healthy eating and physical activity, and to tackle obesity in Leicester.
Joy Platform Overview
The board is scheduled to receive an overview of the Joy Platform.
Centre Project
The board will be updated on the positive work that takes place by the Centre Project, a Leicester-based charity that supports vulnerable people, including those experiencing homelessness, mental health problems, and substance misuse.
