  • The Move More Better Health Campaign 2025/26, which will emphasise that it is safer to exercise with long-term conditions than to remain inactive. The campaign is being designed to show relatable people, bust myths and normalise everyday movement.
  • Neighbourhood working, focusing efforts on communities experiencing the greatest health inequalities. Key developments include Buxton Neighbourhood Group Formation, New Mills targeted on Ollersett, Hope Valley Focus on Rural Inclusion, and Green Spaces and Active Environments.
  • Active Environments, guided by the Move More High Peak Strategy, the High Peak Parks Strategy and Active Derbyshire's Making Our Move . Key principles include accessibility, inclusivity, physical and mental wellbeing, and community ownership.
  • Children and Young People, strengthening the service with cross team working, initiating and completing sustainable legacy projects, and replicating collaborative design models like the Manor Park Sports Courts project.

Culture Strategy Update

The committee was scheduled to receive an update on the Culture Strategy. At the previous meeting, Diana Hamilton of the Hamilton Project gave a presentation to the committee on the work carried out so far, including creative forums consultation with the creative community and a public survey consultation with communities.
