Minutes of Previous Meeting

The panel was scheduled to review and approve the minutes from the meeting held on 17 November 2025. The minutes from that meeting, available as Minutes 17112025.pdf, noted apologies for absence from Barbara Connell, a representative of the Cardiff Governors Association. Declarations of interest were made by several councillors concerning specific school nominations, including Councillor Hopkins regarding Lakeside Primary School, all councillors regarding Ton yr Ywen Primary School, Councillor Merry regarding Whitchurch Primary School, and all councillors regarding Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Bro Edern. Councillor Lent declared a prejudicial interest in St Peter's RC Primary School, and also a personal interest in the same school. All councillors declared personal interests in Western Learning Campus and Willows High School, and all councillors declared personal interests in Ysgol Yr Wern. The minutes also confirmed that the minutes of the meeting held on 15 September 2025 were agreed as a correct record.
