Corporate Parenting Panel - Thursday, 17th July, 2025 10.00 am

The Lincolnshire Council's Corporate Parenting Panel was scheduled to meet on 17 July 2025 to discuss several reports and updates, including the performance of children in care, adoption services, and leaving care services. Councillors were also expected to review and approve the panel's work programme for the coming year.

Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education - Tuesday, 15th July, 2025 2.00 pm

The Lincolnshire Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education (SACRE) met on 15 July 2025 to discuss the implementation of the new religious education syllabus, Ofsted [^2] inspection outcomes, and future support for schools. The council also agreed to hold their next meeting in Grantham. Due to a lack of representation from each committee, decisions made at the meeting will need to be ratified at the next meeting.

Environment Scrutiny Committee - Friday, 27th June, 2025 10.00 am

The Environment Scrutiny Committee met to discuss several key issues, including the integration of flood risk management into the committee's agenda, the procurement of landscape and visual assessment advice for nationally significant infrastructure projects, and the committee's work programme. The committee supported the recommendations for procuring landscape and visual assessment advice, and agreed to pass on a statement to Councillor Danny Brookes, Executive Councillor for the Environment for consideration.

Overview and Scrutiny Management Board - Thursday, 26th June, 2025 10.00 am

The Overview and Scrutiny Management Board met to discuss the council's financial performance, the re-procurement of an occupational health contract, local government reorganisation proposals, and the treasury management annual report. The board supported the recommendations outlined in the review of financial performance, and also supported the re-procurement of the occupational health contract. The board voted to recommend option one for local government reorganisation.

Growth Scrutiny Committee - Tuesday, 10th June, 2025 10.00 am

The Growth Scrutiny Committee convened to discuss its role and responsibilities, receive introductions to key service areas, and review its work programme for the coming year. Members agreed to endorse the presentations and verbal updates they received, and requested that the County Farm Strategy be brought to the committee at the earliest opportunity. The committee also requested a verbal update on the relationship between Lincolnshire County Council and the Mayoral Combined Authority at the next meeting.
