The Pay Policy and Terms and Conditions Sub-Committee met to review the salary of the Chief Executive. The committee agreed that the Chief Executive's remuneration should mirror that of county councils that provide a salary range, setting it at £204,522 to £230,633, consisting of five incremental points to be awarded (or not) on a bi-annual basis.

Chief Executive Pay Review

The Sub-Committee reviewed the current salary of the Chief Executive. Helen Hempstock, Head of People, presented a report to the committee, which they then discussed in detail.

The committee agreed to benchmark the Chief Executive's salary against other county councils that provide a salary range. They resolved that the Chief Executive's remuneration should be set at £204,522 to £230,633, consisting of five incremental points to be awarded (or not) on a bi-annual basis.
