The Joint Committee of the London Boroughs of Brent, Lewisham and Southwark met to discuss the performance of the Shared Technology Service (STS), including updates on service levels, ongoing projects, and cybersecurity. Southwark Council's intention to exit the partnership was also scheduled for discussion, along with proposed revisions to the Inter Authority Agreement (IAA). The meeting was scheduled to move into a closed session to discuss a report on cyber security.
Barham Park Trust Committee - Tuesday 9 September 2025 10.00 am
The Barham Park Trust Committee met to discuss the Barham Park Estate, approve the annual report for the Barham Park Trust for 2024/25, and appoint a chair and vice-chair for the 2025-26 municipal year. Councillor Muhammed Butt was appointed as Chair and Councillor Mili Patel as Vice Chair of the Trust Committee for 2025-26. The committee also approved the annual report and accounts for 2024-25, and noted operational and strategic updates regarding the estate.

The Cabinet of Brent Council met on Monday 08 September 2025, with key decisions including the approval of the relocation of Islamia Primary School to the Gwyneth Rickus site, the allocation of £8 million for Community Infrastructure Levy projects, and the continuation of the shared mortuary service with Barnet and Harrow Councils. The Cabinet also approved the next phase of the Council Homes Acquisition Programme to acquire 15 properties for temporary accommodation and agreed to withdraw from the Tri-Borough leisure contract procurement to establish a standalone procurement for Vale Farm Sports Centre.
