The Human Resources Committee of Tower Hamlets Council met on Monday 12 June 2023, where members discussed and noted the committee's terms of reference, membership, and meeting dates for the upcoming year. The Standards Advisory Committee of Tower Hamlets Council met on Tuesday 18 April 2023 to discuss the annual report, the register of interests, complaint monitoring, and the review of the code of conduct and member-officer protocol. The committee reviewed the annual report, noted that all member declarations of interest were up to date, and discussed ongoing complaint monitoring. Significant time was dedicated to reviewing and amending the member-officer protocol.

Extraordinary, General Purposes Committee - Tuesday, 28th March, 2023 5.30 p.m.

The General Purposes Committee of Tower Hamlets Council met to discuss and agree on the process for recruiting to several key senior officer positions within the council. The committee agreed to establish an appointment subcommittee to oversee the recruitment of a permanent Chief Executive, Corporate Director of Resources, and Director of Finance, Audit and Procurement.
