The committee was also expected to discuss co-optee recruitment and review its forward work plan. Additionally, responses to previous scrutiny recommendations were scheduled to be noted.

The Oxfordshire County Council meeting scheduled for 4 November 2025 included an address by the Lord Lieutenant of Oxfordshire, Mrs Marjorie Glasgow BEM, and consideration of the new strategic plan, changes to financial regulations and the youth justice annual plan. Councillors were also expected to discuss a number of motions, including one to end the Oxford Congestion Charge scheme.

The Remuneration Committee of Oxfordshire Council met on 9 October 2025 to discuss gender and ethnicity pay gap reports, and the withdrawal of the Coroners' Society of England and Wales (CSEW) from the Joint Negotiating Committee. They were also scheduled to review exempt minutes and receive an update on proposed organisational restructuring. The meeting was held at County Hall in Oxford.

The Education and Young People Overview & Scrutiny Committee were scheduled to meet to discuss the Oxfordshire Safeguarding Children Partnership annual report, the Youth Justice Annual Plan, and attendance in schools. The committee was also expected to review its work programme and action trackers, as well as responses to previous scrutiny recommendations.
