The Barnet Council meeting on 21 October 2025 included tributes to former councillors Vanessa Gearson and Agnes Slocum, a discussion on high streets resulting in a decision to provide a written response to a deputation, and a discussion on public engagement in major developments, also resulting in a decision to provide a written report. The council also unanimously carried a joint motion condemning the Yom Kippur terrorist attack in Manchester.

The meeting of the Council of the London Borough of Barnet on 8 July 2025 was scheduled to cover a range of topics, including motions on national gambling reform, housing, and climate change, as well as reports from various committees and officers. Councillors were also expected to discuss a deputation regarding EV charging points.

The Local Pension Board for Barnet Council met on 2 July 2025 to discuss the administration and management of the council's pension fund. The agenda included discussion of the annual report, administration performance, risk management and training. The board was also scheduled to receive updates on data improvement plans, the external audit, and changes to the Local Government Pension Scheme.

The Local Pension Board was scheduled to discuss payments into and from the pension fund, administration performance, data improvement plans, risk registers, decisions made by the Pension Fund Committee, compliance with The Pensions Regulator's new code of practice, knowledge and understanding, and external audit and accounts.

Budget Council, Council - Tuesday 4th March, 2025 7.00 pm

The Council agreed to adopt the new Local Plan, approved the 2025/26 budget and the associated 4.98% rise in Council Tax, and appointed Cath Shaw as the new Chief Executive.
