Surbiton Neighbourhood Committee - Thursday 9 October 2025 7:30 pm
The Surbiton Neighbourhood Committee met to discuss community grants, speed reduction measures, and the proposed local implementation plan. Councillors approved two applications for neighbourhood community grants, one from Kingston Giving and one from Oxygen. Corporate and Resources Committee - Tuesday 30 September 2025 7:30 pm
The Corporate and Resources Committee convened to discuss key performance areas for the council. Councillors approved recommendations relating to a Corporate Peer Challenge, the annual handling of complaints, and the awarding of contracts for security. The committee also noted the revenue and capital budget monitoring reports, and approved a number of changes to capital budgets.

The committee approved a community grant for Namaste Kingston CIC and funding for Christmas trees, decided against changes to the Browns Road parking permit area, supported traffic calming measures on Surbiton Hill Road, and approved a planning application for Uxbridge Court, subject to amendments. The committee also received an update on the Seething Wells project and discussed the Tolworth Area Healthy Streets Scheme.
Home to School Travel Appeals Panel - Wednesday 13 August 2025 6:30 pm
The Home to School Travel Appeals Panel were scheduled to meet to discuss a report on behalf of the Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames, and to agree on a meeting procedure. Councillor Diane White, Portfolio Holder for Children's Services (including Education) and Co-Chair - People Committee, was scheduled to attend as a substitute. The panel was expected to exclude the press and public from the meeting because of the confidential nature of the information to be discussed.
