Due to a conflict of interest, Councillor Anna Abela, Chair of Licensing Committee, recused herself from the hearing, and the sub-committee resolved to adjourn the hearing and reconvene on 17 July 2025.

Meeting in Common - Children & Adults Scrutiny Panels, Children and Young People's Scrutiny Panel - Tuesday, 10th June, 2025 6.30 pm

The Children and Young People's Scrutiny Panel and the Adults & Health Scrutiny Panel met in common to receive an update on the development of the new Haringey Integrated Transitions Programme, which aims to support young people aged 14-25 as they transition to adulthood. The panels previously discussed the programme at a meeting on 28 May 2024, and this meeting was intended to provide an update on the progress made since then. The panels discussed housing, communication, and how the programme will be implemented.

The Special Licensing Sub Committee of Haringey Council met on 9 June 2025 to consider an objection to a temporary event notice (TEN) for Blooming Scents Café on High Road, Tottenham. The application for the TEN was made by Eugenia Moffatt, Director of Blooming Scent Ltd, and was intended to cover events on 12, 14 and 16 June 2025, to coincide with a Beyoncé concert at the nearby Tottenham Hotspur Stadium[^1]. The council received objections from the ASB Noise Team RA and the Metropolitan Police.
