Council - Thursday, 11th December, 2025 7.30 pm

The council is scheduled to convene for an ordinary meeting where they will discuss a range of topics, including a motion to support national gambling reform, the council tax support scheme for 2026/27, proposed fees and charges for the same period, and a new smoke control order. Councillors will also consider the Corporate Parenting Board annual report for 2024/25 and a protocol for honorary alderpeople. Finally, they will discuss long and distinguished service awards for councillors.

Health and Adult Social Care Scrutiny - Wednesday, 3rd December, 2025 7.00 pm

The Health and Adult Social Care Scrutiny were scheduled to meet to discuss the Safeguarding Adults Board Strategic Plan for 2025-28, and to receive an update from Whipps Cross Hospital (Barts Health NHS Trust) on the findings of a Care Quality Commission (CQC) report. Councillors were also expected to review the committee's forward plan, action tracker and recommendations tracker.

Council - Thursday, 16th October, 2025 7.30 pm

The Waltham Forest Council met to discuss a range of topics, including amendments to the council's constitution, treasury management, and a motion regarding support for local businesses. Councillors agreed to amend the Council Procedure Rules and the Councillor's Code of Conduct, and noted reports on treasury management activities, scrutiny, and the use of emergency provisions. The council also rejected a Conservative Group motion calling for support for local businesses.

Health and Adult Social Care Scrutiny - Thursday, 25th September, 2025 7.00 pm

The Health and Adult Social Care Scrutiny Committee were scheduled to meet to discuss a number of topics, including a proposal to enter into a new Section 75 agreement[^2] with North East London Foundation Trust (NELFT), and proposed changes to the Minimum Income Guarantee uplift. The committee was also expected to review the draft forward plan for the 2025/26 municipal year.

Council - Thursday, 17th July, 2025 7.30 pm

Waltham Forest Council met on 17 July 2025, and after observing a moment of silence for the victims of the 7/7 attacks and others, councillors discussed a range of issues including play and community spaces, the borough's financial situation, and parking fees. A motion to support and improve play opportunities for children was passed, and several appointments to committees and outside bodies were agreed.
