Audit and Performance Committee - Thursday 4th September, 2025 6.30 pm

The Audit and Performance Committee met to discuss the 2025/26 work programme, review performance and finances from the first quarter of the year, and receive updates on the council's workforce and procurement activities. The committee noted a projected £7.788m overspend in the General Fund, mainly due to temporary accommodation costs and rising children's social care costs. Members also approved the Annual Report of the Audit and Performance Committee to be forwarded to the Full Council for information.

Licensing Sub-Committee (1) - Thursday 14th August, 2025 10.00 am

The Licensing Sub-Committee (1) met on 14 August 2025, and approved a new premises licence for 63 Abbey Road, London, NW8 0AE. The committee agreed to grant the licence with conditions, permitting the sale of alcohol and defining opening times for the premises. The applicant, Calaviation Limited, intends to operate the premises as a family-friendly neighbourhood pub.

Licensing Sub-Committee (6) - Thursday 10th July, 2025 10.00 am

Here is a summary of the items scheduled to be discussed at the Westminster City Council Licensing Sub-Committee (6) meeting on 10 July 2025. The committee, consisting of Councillor Aziz Toki, Chair of Licensing, Councillor Melvyn Caplan, and Councillor Angela Piddock, will be considering four licensing applications. Audit and Performance Committee - Tuesday 8th July, 2025 6.30 pm

The Audit and Performance Committee is scheduled to meet to review the council's financial activities, performance and risk management. The committee will discuss the year-end financial position, including revenue and capital outturn, and review the treasury management strategy. Also on the agenda is the annual report of the Audit and Performance Committee, and the Head of Internal Audit's opinion on the council's governance.

Licensing Sub-Committee (1) - Thursday 26th June, 2025 10.00 am

The Licensing Sub-Committee (1) of Westminster Council is scheduled to convene to consider three licensing applications. These include a premises licence variation for the Three Crowns Public House, a new premises licence for Cafe Coupette, and a transfer of premises licence for Strand News. The meeting will take place at Westminster City Hall.
