Community Safety Scrutiny Committee - Tuesday, 13th January, 2026 10.00 am

The Community Safety Scrutiny Committee of Lincolnshire Council met on Tuesday 13 January 2026 to discuss the revenue and capital budget proposals for 2026/27, the proposed Engagement Strategy for 2026-2030, and annual progress updates for the Lincolnshire Local Resilience Forum and the Registration and Celebratory Service. Adult Care and Public Health Scrutiny Committee - Wednesday, 7th January, 2026 10.00 am

The Adult Care and Public Health Scrutiny Committee met on Wednesday, 7 January 2026, to discuss the re-procurement of externally commissioned building-based day care services, the future of the Technology Enabled Care (TEC) service, and an extension to short breaks and emergency provision contracts. The committee resolved to support the recommendations made in relation to these items and to forward their comments to the Executive Councillor for Adult Care and Health.

The Executive of Lincolnshire Council met on Tuesday, 6 January 2026, to discuss and approve several key items, including the council's budget for 2026/27, the North Hykeham Relief Road project, the capital repairs and maintenance programme, and the Adult Social Care Strategy. A significant decision was made to approve the initial proposals for the 2026/27 council budget, which includes an assumed 4.99% council tax increase, subject to further consultation and scrutiny. The Executive also approved the progression of the North Hykeham Relief Road to construction, pending final confirmation from the Department for Transport.
