Adult Care and Public Health Scrutiny Committee - Friday, 27th February, 2026 10.00 am
The Adult Care and Public Health Scrutiny Committee was scheduled to consider several key reports concerning the provision of care services. These included a review of the usual costs for residential and residential with nursing care, an extension of the Direct Payment Support Service contract, and the future of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Community Investment Fund. The Executive of Lincolnshire Council met on Tuesday 3 February 2026 to discuss the future of the Integrated Lifestyle Service (ILS), with a decision made to support the recommendation to the Executive to dissolve the service. The council also considered its budget for 2026/27, approving initial proposals subject to further consultation and scrutiny, and discussed updates to the Lincolnshire Minerals and Waste Development Scheme and Statement of Community Involvement.
Adult Care and Public Health Scrutiny Committee - Wednesday, 28 January 2026 - 10.00 am
The Adult Care and Public Health Scrutiny Committee met on 28 January 2026 to discuss the Adult Care and Community Wellbeing budget proposals for 2026/27, the future of the Integrated Lifestyle Service, the recommissioning of Home Based Reablement services, and the Director of Public Health's Annual Report. The committee supported passing comments on the budget proposals to the Executive, but voted against recommending the continuation of the Integrated Lifestyle Service in its current form, opting instead to support the Executive's recommendation to dissolve it. They also supported the recommissioning of the Home Based Reablement service and the Director of Public Health's Annual Report.

The Adult Care and Public Health Scrutiny Committee met on Wednesday, 7 January 2026, to discuss the re-procurement of externally commissioned building-based day care services, the future of the Technology Enabled Care (TEC) service, and an extension to short breaks and emergency provision contracts. The committee resolved to support the recommendations made in relation to these items and to forward their comments to the Executive Councillor for Adult Care and Health.
Executive - Tuesday, 4th November, 2025 10.30 am
The Lincolnshire Council Executive met on Tuesday to discuss active recovery beds, the adult social care strategy, the sufficiency strategy for special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and alternative provision, and the rights of way improvement plan. Councillors voted to approve the recommissioning of active recovery beds, and the SEND strategy, and to adopt the rights of way improvement plan. However, they voted to reject the adult social care strategy, sending it back for further review and engagement.
